What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are stored in your browser on your computer, tablet, smartphone, or similar device when you visit a website. The purpose of cookies is to enable the website to recognize your actions on the site. Cookies specifically record your activity on the website, including which pages you have recently visited, and they help remember where you left off so you can continue seamlessly.

It is important to emphasize that cookies only collect information about your interaction with the website and do not contain personal information such as name, address, or the like. Their purpose is to facilitate the user experience by offering personalized preferences and by supporting the website’s ability to understand how it is being used. This allows for continuous improvements and optimization of the website as well as an enhanced service experience for users.

What types of cookies do we use?

On Azide’s website (Azide.dk), we use four types of cookies that collect various information about your actions on our site. The 4 types of cookies are described in detail below:

1. Technical cookies

Technical cookies are essential for a website’s proper functioning. They prevent you from losing connectivity and enable remembering previously entered information, such as name and phone number, when using features like contact forms. These cookies ensure a smooth and efficient user experience without unnecessary interruptions.

2. Statistical cookies:

Statistical cookies provide us with insight into your use of the website, including which pages you visit. These cookies are used to optimize design, usability, and efficiency on our site. We use, among others, Google Analytics as a statistical cookie to record the number of visits and clicks so we can improve your user experience during your visit to our website.

3. Personalized cookies

These cookies, also known as tracking cookies, track your activity on the website. We use this information to present you with relevant content based on your behavior. This is reflected in the website’s ability to target articles and content specifically to you based on what you have recently viewed.

4. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies, like personalized cookies, track your activity on the website. These cookies work by presenting you with relevant content elsewhere on the internet related to what you have read on our website.
